Do you use Skype?
Chances are that you have heard about Thomas Friedman’s “World is Flat” economic model http://tinyurl.com/m4yn4t.
Well, I like to consider myself as a prime example of that.
Here’s how:
You contact Video Labs www.VideoLabs.net for media replication (CDs, DVDs & videotape) & related multimedia services via e-mail and the internet.
You e-mail, .ftp or overnight your materials to us.
We complete your project and return the finished products the same way they arrived.
You pay by credit card.
Cool — the world is “flat” indeed.
Yet even with clients now in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Southwest Asia, as well as North America, I remain on a quest for new ways to make my world “even flatter.”
Skype is just one such new way to do that.
You probably have heard of Skype www.Skype.com, the video/phone service available over the web. I have an account with Skype. My Skype name is david.ryan47.
I mention this because I have found that there are times when communicating certain aspects of our services over the phone, via e-mail or via web/blog, just aren’t effective enough.
Don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to say that my ”added-value” blogs (now 115+ and counting) have received A LOT of traffic (again, thanks!) and they have been responsible for my making great strides in my sales growth, but still, I have found, especially when communicating about complex orders (e.g. multi-disc packaging options) that the combination of live talk & picture certainly offers advantages.
So, if you too have a Skype account and want to connect with me via that service, just send me an e-mail dryan@videolabs.net, and we’ll set up a convenient time.
(Don’t forget that you can text me as well at 301-717-3747.)
Finding ways to enhance my service to YOU remains my #1 goal.
Also, follow me on Twitter www.Twitter.com/DRMediaSolution for further media info, and also, exclusive, short-term, highly-discounted offers.
(Y a veces, va a ver que mis descuentos de Twitter son solamente en espanol)
As always, your comments are welcome below.
