At the end of this month of August, this website, DavidRyanMediaSolutions.com will celebrate its third anniversary.
Whoo-eee!
And I remain convinced that my online marketing is a major reason why I, amdist the challenges within our media field these days, remain a viable sales player.
Many of you have observed and provided supportive feedback over the years as I have tweaked and honed my online marketing process. Many thanks again for that.
A few months ago I decided to share my experiences in developing an online marketing strategy by writing an eBook, which is now available for easy online purchase and download:
The title is “Synchronize or Sink: Develop an Online Marketing Strategy that Works.”
So this past Thursday afternoon I was sitting at my desk wondering where everyone was. By “everyone,” I mean my clients, contacts and prospects.
I was not getting replies to my eMails regarding proposals and orders.
You know us sales types. A few hours of quasi-silence and our worst insecure fears take over. “Ah, it’s finally happened, I knew it . . . any economic recovery is like the Emperor’s new clothes! We’re doomed!”
Are you involved with the upcoming mid-term election campaigns?
If so, don’t forget that we here at Video Labs www.VideoLabs.net have extensive experience supporting a wide range of media efforts for political activities . . . across the ideological spectrum.
Whether it be front line direct mail support with authored CDs or DVDs http://tinyurl.com/64td2m or making compressed media files for your web efforts, or providing quick-turn cost-effective video editing services http://tinyurl.com/df5fje or mass duplication of TV spots and fulfillment, or facilitating distribution of your streaming files, you can count on us.
Sometimes you read an article that just makes you shout, “Man, that is so right on!”
Such is the case of an article I read in the October, 2009 issue of SCN, Systems Contractor News, www.systemscontractor.com
The title of the article is “The Visual Channel:” http://tinyurl.com/yab2k2e
And it’s written by Paul Chavez, director of systems applications for Harman Pro Group. pchavez@harman.com
The first two sentences of the article made me realize I had found a kindred spirit.
“Everywhere I go, I carry a pencil and a small notebook in my back pocket. I don’t use them every day, but they are there just in case I can’t express an idea in words . . .”
That is most definitely I.
