David is in charge of the company-wide marketing efforts for Chesapeake Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. He also assists with inside sales efforts for the firm.
Chesapeake Systems motto is “Creative IT for the Creative Professional and Consumer.” Our specialty is providing Mac-based workflow solutions, support and service. A large segment of our client base is media-centric, and we provide solutions for post-production, media asset management and digital storage challenges.
Before joining Chesapeake in the fall of 2010, David was a member of the sales and marketing team at Video Labs, a Rockville, Maryland-based company that specializes in providing media replication and related multimedia services.
David began his transfer from being a production veteran and operations senior manager to working in the sales and marketing arena during his tenure with the full-service independent production company, GVI in Washington, DC. David fell in love with sales and marketing and actually got a lot of the same reward from it that he did from his days as a live television director.
Bottomline: wherever David has been plying his marketing and sales skills, clients have come to rely on his ability to manage their technically-complex and time-sensitive projects.
