Susanne Stahley has worked nearly fifteen years as an Emmy-winning independent producer, writer and director in the Baltimore/DC area.  She currently writes and produces specials and segments for the popular Maryland Public Television series, Outdoors Maryland and Artworks this Week.  Susanne has also produced documentary specials for WETA-TV.

Susanne has extensive experience producing corporate, association, education and government projects, including live studio-based videoconferences, docudramas and other long-form programming.

Prior to settling in this area, Susanne worked in Los Angeles as staff writer and associate producer at KCET-TV and Adrian Malone Productions on a variety of science, cultural and dramatic projects.

Susanne earned her Masters Degree in English Literature as a Teaching Fellow at Indiana University in Bloomington. She is completing work on her first novel, Sirocco.
